Diego’s Story

Since I met Soup in January of 2023, I started learning a lot on disciple making. It’s been very important to me to have an older and wiser man, that I can walk with and learn from, that is not only talking about it, but actually doing it.

Focusing on a few, and teaching them to do the same, has been key to me in the last 6 months, for the growth and expansion of the kingdom of God in our little community in Costa Rica.

Now that we are able to see generations of young men and women, on fire for the Lord and wanting to invest life and truth in others, we are closer to seeing no youth walking alone and feeling rejected.

In April we were able to gather again, this time with my disciples and some of their disciples, in a whole week of training on disciple making. It was a great time for us to bond and meet other great men that came along with Soup. We learned a lot, and modeled the real disciple making, Jesus’ style.

I’m very excited because I get to come with my Rabi to Nicaragua in less than a month, and to Guatemala in December, with some of my disciples. We are dreaming and praying for the nations, and the Lord is already opening some doors for us to go learn from and teach to other cultures about disciple making.

In January 2024, I have an amazing opportunity to join my Rabi in Ethiopia, and in May to come meet him at his house in Memphis. Even though we are many miles away, our relationship is close, and with these opportunities of spending time together and growing in my faith and knowledge, I feel him very close.
