Relentless Pursuit: Diego Zúñiga
Diego started running hard after Soup in the process of being discipled in January of 2023. He was hungry, illuminated, and obedient to put everything he learned into practice.

I stopped feeling like I was carrying the load of building others by myself. Soup discipling me, showed me how to build and take responsibility for my disciples the way he did for me.”

Since that January, Diego has joined Soup in Nicaragua, hosted Soup, Linda, and their team; along with his own disciples, in Guatemala, joined Soup in Ethiopia and came to the United States from April-June 2024.

During his time in the states, Diego got plenty of with-me time with Soup, learned about Eikon, Binghampton (how to change a neighborhood), Soup’s prison outreach, met other disciples, and learned & served at Kids Across America. He had new food, new experiences, and met new friends.
Diego had a life changing experience in Ethiopia and had the opportunity to teach at Downline Ethiopia and at International Evangelical Church’s college group.
Ethiopia
Diego is implementing the things he learned in Costa Rica. He met Soup and Linda in Germany and scheduled training sessions with Young Life leaders. He also has set up training trips for Soup and Linda in different countries across Central America for 2025.
